Workday @ Grace City Church of Frankfurt

Please join us for a workday at our sister-church in Northeast Philadelphia, Grace City Church of Frankfurt.

This is a church we love dearly, and desire to support as much as we can.
They've purchased a building that needs a significant amount of work, and are asking for all hands on deck to help out!

Here's some details on for the day from Stephen:
Parking: you can park in the lot across the street from the church or on Unity Street.  You can also park on Frankford Ave, but you need to use the kiosk and pay for parking.  The parking authority is very active and you will be ticketed if you don't pay.

Safety: please be aware that our neighborhood is a high crime place, so be sure to lock your vehicles and don't leave any tools exposed in the bed of your truck or anything like that. Also, if any ladies or younger guys come with your group, just have them stay in groups if they need to go outside the building.  

Bathrooms: the bathrooms are not yet working in the new building.  We will have our current church building (just 400 ft from the new property) open so the bathrooms there can be used during the day

Food and Drinks: we will supply snacks and drinks throughout the day as well as lunch 

What to bring: you can just come and help out and there will be plenty of things to do.  However, if you would like to bring some tools to help, we could use: shovels, 5 gallon plastic buckets to haul debris, hammers, crow bars/pry bars, chistles, sawzalls (there is electricity in the building), extension cords, circular saws, tools to cut and tear up carpeting, etc. Please label everything you bring and please keep an eye on any tools you bring.
