Are you looking for a way to support foster and adoptive families in our church or community? Becoming trauma-informed is a GREAT first step to helping. And we're having a training right at Redeemer!

Share with your friends and family, anyone is welcome, not just our Care for the Orphan team. We'd love to see more folks at Redeemer trained and equipped to care for our kiddos better.

Register HERE - You may need to do so through your browser since it is through Church Center Family Hope instead of Redeemer.

A description:

Trauma-Informed Principles to Support Your Kids in the Classroom, Church, and Home. Intended to help children who have been adopted or experienced foster care, but is also beneficial for children who have come from hard places.

In this class, we will learn how to navigate challenges that arise in the classroom and at home due to childhood trauma. We will talk about how childhood trauma impacts brain development as well as how to respond to challenging situations and create a safe environment. Includes practical discussion and role-play scenarios that can be adjusted for the classroom or the home.

This training is great for babysitters, grandparents, friends of foster families, teachers, and Children's ministry workers.

We will provide coffee and refreshments.
